You buy a licence to use a file, not ownership of it. A standard licence covers one store or project for the buyer. An extended licence covers client work and multiple deployments. Reselling or redistributing the files themselves is never permitted.
1.Licence grant
On confirmed payment, Unifiedcommerce Hub grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide licence to use the purchased files in line with the licence type shown on the product page.
The licence starts when payment is confirmed and continues for as long as you comply with these terms.
Ownership, copyright and all other rights in the files stay with us or with the original rights holder.
2.Licence types
The licence type that applies to your purchase is the one recorded on the order.
2.1Standard licence
For one live store or project belonging to you or to your own business. Development, staging and preview environments for that same project are included.
2.2Extended licence
For agencies, freelancers and teams delivering client work. Covers deployment on multiple projects, including projects owned by your clients, within the number of deployments stated on the product page.
2.3Free resources
Free downloads carry the standard licence unless their page says otherwise. Free does not mean unrestricted; redistribution rules still apply.
3.Permitted use
- Install and use the files on the number of projects your licence covers
- Modify, extend and adapt the files for those projects
- Use them in commercial projects that generate revenue
- Deploy client work using an extended licence and hand over the working result
- Keep private backups of the files
4.Prohibited use
- Reselling, sublicensing or redistributing the files, modified or not
- Publishing the files in a public repository, marketplace, template pack or bundle
- Sharing your account or download links so others can obtain the files
- Removing or obscuring copyright or licence notices in the source
- Using the files to build a competing product that is substantially the same
- Using them in anything unlawful, deceptive or infringing
5.Modification rights
You may modify the files freely for projects your licence covers. Modification does not create a new licence and does not entitle you to redistribute the result as a product.
Heavily modified files may fall outside what our support can reasonably diagnose.
6.Client work
Using a purchased file in client work requires an extended licence. Under it, the deployed result may be handed to your client and operated by them.
Your client receives a working deployment, not a licence to reuse the source files on other projects. If they want that, they need their own licence.
7.Distribution restrictions
The files must never be distributed as files. Anything that lets a third party obtain the source outside a deployed project — a repository, an archive, a shared drive link, a bundle — is prohibited regardless of price or intent.
8.Third-party assets
Products may include third-party libraries, fonts, icons or preview imagery under their own licences. Those licences are listed with the product and take precedence for those components.
Preview imagery is not licensed for use in a live site unless the product page expressly includes that right.
9.Updates
Where a product includes updates, the update period is stated on its product page. Updates are delivered through your account downloads.
When the update period ends, the files you hold continue to work under this licence; only access to new versions stops.
10.Support
Support covers installation, documented functionality and defects in the product. It does not cover custom development, third-party app conflicts or platform changes outside the product's stated compatibility.
Custom work beyond support scope can be arranged as an engagement.
11.Ownership
This is a licence, not a sale of intellectual property. We keep all rights not expressly granted here.
Content you create using the files — your copy, images, products and data — remains entirely yours.
12.Licence transfer
A licence is tied to the buying account and is not transferable by default. Where a project or business is sold, contact us and we will consider transferring the licence to the new owner in writing.
13.Termination
The licence ends if you breach these terms. On termination you must stop using the files and remove them from your projects and systems.
Termination for breach does not entitle you to a refund.
14.Warranty and liability
Files are provided as-is. We do not warrant that they are error-free, that they will work with every third-party app, or that they will produce any particular commercial outcome.
Our liability in connection with a product is limited to the amount you paid for it, except where the law does not allow that limit.
15.Changes to this licence
The licence that governs your purchase is the version published when you bought it. Changes here apply to purchases made afterwards.
16.Contact information
Licensing questions, including extended licences and transfers, go through the Contact page.
