Terms of Service

The agreement between you and us when you use the website, buy a digital product, hire an expert, or maintain an expert profile on the platform.

Effective date

Last updated

Applies to
Unifiedcommerce Hub website, marketplace and expert platform

These terms cover three kinds of use: browsing the site, buying digital products, and engaging experts. Payment is by manual bank transfer and is verified by a person before anything is unlocked. Uploading a receipt is a submission, not a confirmation.

1.Acceptance of terms

By using the Unifiedcommerce Hub website, creating an account, submitting an expert application, purchasing a digital product or engaging an expert through the platform, you agree to these terms.

If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company.

If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the account, marketplace or expert features.

2.Eligibility

You must be old enough to enter into a binding contract in your country, and you must not be barred from using the service under any applicable law or sanctions programme.

3.Account registration

Some features require an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you provide and for everything done through your account.

3.1Client accounts

  • Keep your email address current so order and payment notices reach you
  • Keep your password confidential and tell us promptly about any unauthorised access
  • Do not share account access in order to redistribute purchased files

3.2Expert accounts

Expert accounts are created through the Join page and follow a review flow: account created, email verification, pending administrator review, approval, expert dashboard access, and finally publication of the public profile.

An expert profile is not public by default and is never published automatically.

3.3Expert profiles

Experts are responsible for the accuracy of their profile: title, biography, experience, skills, services, platforms, portfolio and accomplishments. Misrepresenting experience, credentials or work you did not perform is grounds for suspension.

Expert levels are assigned by administrators only. Experts cannot set or change their own level.

4.Marketplace services

The platform offers two kinds of transaction: purchase of a digital product, and engagement of an expert or the wider team for services. Each has its own terms below.

5.Digital products

Digital products are delivered as downloadable files through your account. Each product page states the version, the licence type, what is included and the platforms it supports. Nothing is shipped physically.

We may update, re-version or withdraw a product. Withdrawal does not revoke a licence you already hold.

6.Purchases

Prices are shown on the product page in the stated currency and exclude any taxes or bank charges that may apply to you.

An order is created when you start checkout. It is not fulfilled until payment has been verified.

7.Payments

The platform does not process card payments. All payments are made by manual bank transfer to the account details published at checkout.

7.1Manual bank transfer payments

  • Bank details and a payment reference are shown with the order
  • A payment window opens with those instructions and is time-limited
  • If the window expires you can restart the payment from your order and a new window is issued
  • Always use the reference shown, otherwise we may be unable to match your payment

7.2Payment verification

After transferring, you upload proof of payment and the order moves to payment under review. An administrator checks the payment against the order and either confirms or rejects it.

Uploading a receipt does not confirm payment, does not unlock downloads and does not start work. Only an administrator confirmation does.

8.Orders

Every order carries a status you can follow from your account, together with the times at which each step happened. Where a payment is rejected, the reason is recorded on the order so you can correct and resubmit.

9.Downloads

Downloads unlock after payment confirmation and are available from your account. Download links are personal, time-limited and tied to your account.

Attempting to bypass download protection, or sharing links so others can obtain files they have not licensed, ends your access without refund.

10.Licences

What you may do with a purchased file is set out in the Licence page and in any product-specific licence shown on the product page. Where the two differ, the product-specific licence applies to that product.

11.Expert-client engagements

You can work with an individual expert or with the wider team. The scope, deliverables, timeline and price of an engagement are agreed in writing before work starts.

Experts are independent professionals working through the platform. We facilitate discovery, messaging, ordering and payment verification, and we hold both sides to the standards in these terms.

Cancellations, revisions and hand-over expectations should be agreed as part of the scope. Where an engagement is cancelled, the Refund Policy governs what is returned.

12.Messaging

Keep engagement conversation on the platform. It gives both sides a timestamped record, and it is what we rely on if we are asked to look into a dispute.

You can block a party you no longer wish to hear from. Platform notices sent by the administrator cannot be deleted, because they carry account, order and policy information.

13.User responsibilities

  • Give accurate information at registration, at checkout and in any dispute
  • Provide the access, assets and approvals an engagement needs, on time
  • Only upload content you are entitled to upload
  • Respect the confidentiality of anything shared with you through the platform

14.Prohibited activities

  • Reselling, redistributing or sublicensing purchased files outside the licence terms
  • Submitting fake, incentivised or self-authored reviews
  • Impersonating another person, expert or business
  • Taking an engagement off-platform to avoid platform terms or payment verification
  • Uploading malware, or attempting to probe, scrape or overload the platform
  • Using the platform for unlawful, fraudulent or infringing purposes

15.Intellectual property

The website, its design, code, text and imagery belong to Unifiedcommerce Hub or its licensors, except where third-party material is identified as such.

Storefront examples shown for inspiration remain the property of the businesses that own them. They are referenced with attribution and an outbound link and do not imply any relationship or endorsement.

16.User-submitted content

You keep ownership of what you submit: profile content, portfolio material, files, messages and reviews. You give us a limited licence to store, display and process that content solely to operate the platform and, for published profiles and approved reviews, to display it publicly.

You confirm you have the rights to everything you submit and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.

17.Reviews

Reviews must describe genuine first-hand experience. Every review is submitted as pending and is published only after administrator approval; nothing is published automatically.

We may reject, hide or remove a review that is fake, abusive, off-topic, or that discloses confidential or personal information. We do not edit the substance of a review to make it more favourable.

18.Website availability

We work to keep the platform available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, provider incidents and events outside our control can cause downtime.

19.Third-party services

The platform connects to third-party services such as ecommerce platforms, marketing and automation tools. Those services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability, pricing or behaviour.

20.Disclaimers

The platform and the digital products are provided on an as-is basis. We do not guarantee any specific commercial result, revenue figure or conversion improvement from using a product, hiring an expert or following our advice.

Nothing on the site is legal, tax or financial advice.

21.Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost revenue or lost data arising from your use of the platform.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud.

22.Suspension and termination

We can suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that is being used fraudulently, or that puts other users at risk. Where circumstances allow, we tell you why and give you an opportunity to respond.

You can close your account at any time. Closure does not cancel obligations from orders already placed, and it does not extend a licence you no longer hold.

23.Dispute handling

Raise a dispute with us in writing first, with the order reference and the relevant messages. Most issues are settled from the platform record without escalation.

The governing law and venue for any formal dispute are those published by the administrator on the Contact page for the operating entity. We do not state a jurisdiction here that has not been confirmed.

24.Changes to terms

We may update these terms as the platform changes. The dates at the top of this page reflect the current version, and material changes are announced to account holders. Continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.

25.Contact information

Questions about these terms can be sent through the Contact page, which carries the current published contact details.
